Bold360 ai 4.68 release notes

Align chat messages to bottom of the chat widget on iOS devices

New chat messages on iOS devices are displayed at the bottom of the chat message area in the conversational widget. This improvement was introduced to the Bold360ai Mobile SDK for iOS.

File upload for the Combined Android SDK

On Android devices, you can now implement your custom file upload feature via the Bold360ai Mobile SDK for Android.

Demo application available for iOS and Android devices

To demonstrate the features of a Bold360 ai chat widget, you can now download and install a demo app from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) on your mobile device.

Inline pre-chat forms

When a customer is channeled to a live agent and fills in a pre-chat form, you can now make it more apparent to the customer that the chat has not ended.

To do so,

  1. In the Bold360 ai Console, go to Channeling > Channeling Policy
  2. Select the channeling policy that you want to modify.
  3. Select the Show pre-chat form inline option.
  4. Save your changes.

Allow for extended search precision in conversational widgets

As a fallback option, you can set your conversational widget to perform a broader search for answers when the widget does not display results. To enable this fallback option, do the following:

  1. In the Bold360 ai Console, go to Touchpoints > Widgets.
  2. Click Personalize under the widget type that you want to modify.
  3. Select a knowledge base or URL to customize.
  4. On the Conversation tab, make sure you have selected Restrictive from the Search precision drop-down list.
  5. Select Allow algorithm fallback.
  6. In the Fallback statement field, enter a message that is displayed to the customer before offering additional answers.
  7. Save your changes.

Use custom headers in the URL request of Entities

You can now add custom headers when creating a new Entity via a URL on the Knowledge > Entities page of the Bold360 ai Console. You can define up to 10 custom headers in a key/value format.
